We finished a full week of VBS. Like i told you before, i was in charge of crafts. (what? i'm crafty. i can't help it. and i also volunteer too much. ::sigh:: but this was fun!) so we made things with clay and then painted things and used sticky things to create more fun things. goodness all morning long. little faces excited to create and use their imaginations to make what they see in their mind. it's a fun thing. creating. it comes easily to me (but don't get me started about scrapbooking. i am not great at scrap booking. my arch enemy.). so anyway... i did the crafts and had a wonderful time (and i am already looking forward to next year). ::giggles::
I saw this photo online on one of the (many) blogs i read and i fell in love with its simplicity. it's just so sweet. this Summer i'm working (or trying to) on some house projects and also trying to simplify things a bit. we need to purge and simplify.

That is ironic, but when my girls were little, I was always in charge of crafts at Bible school. It was a lot of work, but I loved it! I miss those days. My girls are grown now. (21 & 26) I have been working at trying to simplify things here at home since the first of the year. I have been sorting and purging for months. It feels good to get rid of excess "stuff" and be more organized. Have a wonderful weekend. Love & blessings from NC!
