I'm looking forward to a change. I'm getting laid off next week and I'm actually, to some extent, looking forward to it. My son is 2 and we'll be spending a LOT of time together soon. :)
Laurie, I'm looking forward to the scenery. It does wonders for my inspiration. We get some beautiful foliage here in CT and I can't wait to go walking through the falling leaves! :)

Oh Fall!! I love Fall. It is my favorite season!! The colors of the leaves changing, the sound of them crunching under my feet, the smell of fireplaces just getting started to take the chill out of the air.
When the smell of homemade Chicken Pot Pies fills our home. Warm fuzzy blankets while watching a favorite movie. Ah, it doesn't get any better than that!!!
I'm looking forward to another cycle of my life. For most people, spring means new beginnings, but because I work at a University fall is the start of a new year. As I grow older I am more thankful for the simple pleasures; time with my elderly mother and my now-adult children; a new level of responsibilities at my job; thoughtful walks with my dog and quiet dinners with my husband. As the season changes outside, the season of my life changes inside me, and I treasure each moment of both.
