If I had only known...

You've all heard me complain talk about sad movies and how I don't like them. It's not that I can't watch a sad and depressing movie, it's that they stay with me longer than maybe your average human. I dwell on them, keep the sadness with me for far too long and don't even get me started on the crying aspect of a sorrowful movie. ::sigh::

So, the RedBox has a new movie, Hachiko inside it's big red casing and I think what a wonderful idea it would be to rent this this weekend for a family movie. Boy, if I had only known how sad that movie was, I'd never ever ever never have rented it. However, I can tell you that it was precious and sweet and filled with loyalty of a dog's love for his friend. I truly loved this movie but I warn you, it is sad.

I've added a trailer for the movie so you too can be sad along with me. :) I'm nice like that, I know.

I'm working. I'm not sure when I'll have the new things posted. I'm shooting for 8p. A little later than usual but Jeff has been gone all weekend so I've been doing double-duty as parent and worker-bee. :)

See you tomorrow!

Laurie, Cassandra got this movie from the Easter Bunny. We loved the movie but yes, very sad. We went through a whole box of tissues....each....
Loved the dog. Love Richard Geer. Loved it all, even the sadness and heart wrenching end. The story is great and really made me think that we (humans) don't deserve this kind of loyalty, we are just very lucky to have it from our four legged friends!.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Thanks for sharing.

I feel the same way about sad movies but I had to sneak a peak at this trailer and of course I get all teary eyed!

I love Richard Gere, so I will have to get the movie and cry too. I cry over a sad commercial, so I will be a wreck over this movie, but it does look good. What a beautiful dog! Love & blessings from NC!
